How can we get started?
Fill out the contact form here so we can schedule a 30-minute virtual (& 100% casual) coffee date. During this time, we’ll get to know one another a bit better and how we can best collaborate. If you decide to make it official, I’ll send you a custom proposal and contract afterwards. Keep in mind, however, while I wish we could begin right away, I book on a first-come, first-serve basis to allow a thoughtful amount of time for each project.
when will content be ready to share with my audience?
Each project is so unique. For that reason, I create a timeline customized to our collaboration, which is shared with you in the digital proposal document. It includes all the dates you need—from when we kick things off to the delivery of the first draft, feedback round(s), and the wrap-up.
writing is so personal. how can i trust you’ll master my voice?
After we make our biz friendship official, I’ll send you a digital questionnaire to work through. It should take you no more than 1-1.5 hours to thoughtfully complete. Remember, this is your time to dish all the details so I can connect with your ideal clients, sound just like you, and allow more people to get carried away with your brand.
what’s your payment policy?
If it’s a one-time project, I require 50% of the project investment upfront via an invoice I send you from Quickbooks so we can hold our collaboration spot on my calendar. The remaining 50% will be due once we pop the bubbly, throw confetti, and celebrate at the very end.
How do you deliver content work for me to review?
Google Docs. It’s easy to use, and you can drop your edits right in the doc! Depending on the scope of our project, however, I might also create a unique Trello board (big time fan!).
Do you offer a Military discount?
Yes. As a milspouse myself, I’m proud to offer military and veteran spouse-owned businesses a 10% discount on all services (excludes digital products).
Do you partner with organizations to give back?
I’m glad you asked! Giving Tuesday is my favorite day of the year to give back to 1-4 nonprofit organizations with missions I can truly get behind. In the past, CACC has donated to InDependent, The Milspo Project, Humans on the Homefront, Dogs on Deployment, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and California Fire Foundation.
nope. that doesn’t cut it. i still have more questions.
Let me hear it. Ask away here, and I’ll be sure to get you an answer.
